Dear Loyal Customers
Dear Loyal Customers,
With the holiday season upon us and 2018 winding down, we at Boys Town Press would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for your support throughout the year.
This year has brought some exciting developments at Boys Town Press:
- New website! In March of this year, Boys Town Press launched a new website with a goal of delighting our customers who purchase through our website. Reorganizing, bundling, improving search capabilities and technologies, ensuring responsiveness for those using mobile devices, and an interactive catalog, are a few ways our new site has improved.
- Book trailers. We recognize that it’s difficult to make a purchase on a book without much information, other than a description. That’s why we started creating book trailers to give you a better look at the messaging and content included in our new titles. Be on the lookout for more!
- Blogs and expanded social media presence. Being part of a 100-year-old mission-driven organization that focuses on saving children and healing families, and having been in the industry providing books and resources for close to 30 years, Boys Town Press has a lot of expertise on topics that are relevant to today’s educators, counselors/youth-serving professionals, parents, and children. Our goal is to share that with you in a variety of ways – including smaller, manageable articles and blogs, along with accompanying free resources. These at-your-fingertips resources enable us to share our expertise in ways that our customers find most useful.
- New products and resources in a variety of formats. We know that sometimes our customers are looking for in-depth references on a specific topic; sometimes a shorter resource for an educator; sometimes a storybook; and sometimes quick-hitting, access-right-here-and-now activities. That’s why we continue to develop new products, and we provide our materials in a variety of formats. For example, our downloadable activities that support and extend the teachings of our new storybooks are great values, and easy to access. This year, we also launched our first animated eBook for one of our most popular children’s book characters!
In closing, we want you to know that we value and appreciate your business. We are a non-profit, mission-driven publishing house. Every penny we bring in beyond our operating costs goes directly into the care of at-risk children and families.
Staying true to our mission, we look forward to developing new resources around the subjects of social skills, character development, social-emotional learning, and behavior management. We have new authors and new products coming in 2019! And we want to hear from you! If there are gaps in our offerings, or you have new ideas, please email us at btpress@boystown.org with the subject line: New Product Idea!
Thank you for your support! We wish you a wonderful, warm remainder of 2018, and a healthy, happy 2019.
Sincerely,
Erin Green
