Use these engaging downloadable activities to reinforce the lessons taught in the storybook, Hope! More Than Wishful Thinking.
The activities are best suited for children ages 5-11.
The Five Downloadable Activities include:
- Activity 1 – Holly’s HOPE Maze – Trace your way through the maze, avoiding distractions and dead ends! Maze sheet and answer key included.
- Activity 2 – Holly’s HOPE Footprints – Children will determine, and color in, the “footprints” that describe what Holly learned about the true definition of HOPE. Worksheet with footprints included.
- Activity 3 – What Might HOPE Sound Like? – Students come up with hopeful statements to encourage Holly to be more positive. Worksheet included.
- Activity 4 – What Might HOPE Look Like? – Children will describe how they will apply HOPE in their lives. Worksheet included.
- Activity 5 – My HOPE Poster – Design your own poster to use as a visual reminder of what it means to live life with HOPE. Poster outline included.
