Freddie the Fly is known for buzzing about! He loves to talk and talk and occasionally forgets to listen. He also forgets to be empathetic, sensitive and understanding towards others.
Freddie's friend Betsy must practice how to stop anxiety in its tracks from her constant companion - an annoying worry bug! And his friend Stella seems to have a lot of problems to work through!
These seven colorful stories help teach students in grades K through 5 very valuable but sometimes difficult lessons!
Each storybook also has accompanying downloadable activities to help reinforce the social skills taught.
About the Author
KIMBERLY DELUDE, M.A., CCC-SLP, worked for a national sports team before earning her MA at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst's Department of Education. Kimberly has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association and works as a Speech Language Pathologist in the public schools. She spends her days giving kids a voice and uses her humorous tales to help children have fun while improving their communication skills. Kimberly is the author of the Freddie the Fly book series, celebrating children who demonstrate good character, and teaching communication skills. The book series won the Counselor's Choice Award, which is awarded by Licensed Mental Health Therapists for "Recognition of Quality in the Field."
